Chitosan-based adsorbents for heavy-metal removal from industrial effluent

Presented my undergraduate research on magnetic carboxymethylchitosan nanoparticles derived from shrimp-shell waste for lead adsorption and desorption.

2024 · Green Actions Competition

VitaSOS — Powdered water treatment solution

Awarded US$5,000 in funding by the Municipality of Guatemala to develop VitaSOS, a powdered product designed for water treatment and purification.

2023 · CENTRAL AMERICAN SPACE CONGRESS

Solid rocket motor development & infrared spectroscopy

Presented two projects at CEC: the design and development of a Class I solid rocket motor, and the use of infrared spectroscopy to identify polycyclic aromatic compounds in space.
